Instant Payday Loans For Quick Low Cost Finance

By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Tim_Kelly]Tim Kelly People, who are dependent on monthly salary for day to day expenses, are often in search of money just when the month has advanced by a week or so. They not only require a loan for meeting urgency but the loan must come to them instantly or its very purpose may be lost. Instant payday loans are crafted especially for providing an instant loan and without putting any hurdle in the way of a loan seeker. Instant payday loans are labeled as instant because the loaned amount is in the borrowers bank account within 24 hours of applying for it. How does it happen? The instant availability is made possible when the loan is applied online as it enables a quick processing of loan application. Online loan application requires you to fill some basic information about loan amount, purpose of the loan and your monthly income, employment etc. Secondly, there is no collateral involved in instant payday loans and therefore the time wasted in valuation of collateral is saved for instant approval of the loan. Instant payday loans are very short term loans provided for a period of one or two weeks till the borrower bet his next paycheque. Just when the paycheque arrives, the borrower pays off the loan. Instant payday loans are mostly unsecured loans as no one likes to offer any property as collateral for one-two weeks and for such a small amount. Still to secure it another way, some lender may take a post-dated cheque of the loaned amount plus lenders fee and get back the amount from borrowers account on due date. Lenders may also for monthly income, bank statement and employment proof if required. Because of the unsecured nature, instant payday loans are offered at higher interest rate. Very short repayment period also is one reason for higher interest rate. You can borrow only a limited amount that is restricted by the monthly salary you draw and the credit history you have. A person with good credit history certainly enjoys better terms from lenders. But instant payday loans providers do not hesitate in offering loan to bad credit people as they know that because of higher interest rate and lenders high fee the borrower will seldom go for a payment default instead will prefer paying off the loan. Compare different instant payday loan offers of different lenders for their interest rates before settling for the suitable deal. Make sure that you pay off the loan in time to avoid higher interest and fees payments. The loan enables you in improving your credit score when paid off in time. How To Avoid The Answers

By Ray Rheault The answer “There is no question” is an absolute kick in the teeth to us “seekers of truth”. In honesty, I am unwilling to let go of the self-perception that I am a “spiritual person” or even “seeking god”. Why? Because it makes me feel better about myself. Is this a valid reason? Truly, as a free and infinitely adaptable consciousness, do I have any legitimate reason to need to feel better about myself? How much better does it get? So why do I hold onto to these labels? Why do I feel they are necessary to my existence? Because if I continue to hold onto them, I never have to deal with that brick wall that is “there is no question.” That’s it…when it boils down to it, all my beliefs, fears, judgments, and reactions are based on this avoidance. I want those labels…they are “important”. But really, all a label has ever done is describe something. If an infinite range of perception is available, then a label is simply trapping us in the perception of its creator, not our own. The point is that any thing could be perceived in any way, to define that thing is to attempt to control change. We attempt to control our surroundings, our language, our community, our thoughts, our memories, our belief system, and even our own free will. All this simply to avoid an answer. So why do I try to control reality? Because it is a distraction. If I am busy participating in the “outside world”, I continue to hold onto the perception that I am separate from reality. Every single belief or fear that I have exists for the simple reason that I do not want to let them go. Ultimately, the only reason that I believe I am separate from reality is because I choose to believe it. If all perceptions are open to us, why then is it so hard to see this one? What is it about Unity that makes us run back to Duality? Responsibility. Admitting that all of reality is contained in a single “consciousness”(I have to use a word here even though it doesn’t really apply to an indescribable thing. This is the unfortunate limitation of language) is simple…in fact, we whole-heartedly enjoy believing in “God” because if there was a such thing as “God” then It would be responsible for how things are going. But to admit that all of reality exists only in your consciousness means that you can no longer pass the buck. Basically it means that the things I hold onto are made real by my attention to them. It is very hard to admit that everything that exists, exists because God wants it to. It’s harder when You are God. And Boom! Just like that the thoughts come whirling in…at the forefront of the charge is Judgement. “But there are horrible things and people in the world, I would never do those things.” –> Yes, I would if I were in the right circumstances and particular frame of mind. Basically if I was that person, that is exactly what I would do. Life is a long and infinitely complex journey of choice after choice after choice….each moment of your reality is a turning point. If perception is the map, and an infinite amount of perceptions exist, then it is our choices that decide where our journey takes us. Boom! More atrocities turn up…murder, rape, war, disease, starvation! “I would never do these things!” –> Once again, yes I probably would. But before casting judgement on these things, remember Duality. Horrible is the opposite of Wonderful…without one, there would be no other. This is truly hard to admit, but everything is happening so that I can experience. Not experience “something” in particular…but to experience period. Without duality there is no experience. There is simple Unity. So how do I avoid the answer? Simple…stay clear of these 3 habits. Relaxing Bein in The Moment Paying Attention To be honest, these 3 things actually mean the same thing. One cannot be done without the other 2. Example : Relaxing implies letting go of control. This leads to letting go of thought. Without thought we have unbiased experience. This experience is not distracted by the workings of the mind because you are relaxed…therefore you are paying attention. In paying attention you abandon Time…leading you to The Moment. Why ask “Why?” Because the questions very existence implies I do not know the answer. If you want to avoid the Answer…just keep asking questions. For every question you create, a justifiable reason to escape responsibility is born. The author is. No label or decriptions apply, to do so would be another example of willing self-limitation. Why be one thing when you are already everything? forgetfulgod.blogspot.com Article Source: http://EzineArticles.com/?expert=Ray_Rheault http://EzineArticles.com/?How-To-Avoid-The-Answers&id=356117 sl 0 keywords cash advance payday loans online need a personal loan to pay off credit cards but my credit is poor smart payday loans percentage taken out for taxes on paycheck

Weight Loss Begins from the Neck Up, in Your Mind – How to Think Like a Naturally Thin Person

By Rosa Smith-Montanaro Thoughts are powerful, they are a reflection of the quality of your life. If you want to make a change in your life, then you first have to change what is being said in your mind. Every single thought causes a reaction in the body. Think about a lemon, imagine biting into a wedge of a ripe lemon and tasting the sour, tangy juice. Notice the salvia forming in your mouth right now? We call this a psycho somatic response. It is when the body reactions to the minds thoughts. There have been numerous studies on this topic including the respected field of psychoneuroimmuology. The mind and the body are interdependent, they respond to each other. What is the difference between a naturally thin person and a chronic dieter? A naturally thin person might have a higher metabolism. Usually not that much higher, observe them around food you will see something else. You will notice that naturally thin people have a different perspective of the role that food plays in their lives. There are limited things you can do to change your biogenetics, but there is an area you have total control over. You are in control of your mind. More precisely you are in control of your thoughts. At any given moment you have thousands of opportunities to think healthy thoughts, do you? Or are you think limiting, disempowering, self defeating thoughts? I have found as a weight loss coach that the issue in weight management is mind management. Manage how you think and you will manage your weight. What if it is that simple? What if just by changing the way you think you could lose weight? If this statement intrigues you, become curious and ask yourself how does a naturally thin person think? There is a recipe for thinking thin, here are patterns that naturally thin people have in common. One common theme is naturally thin people see themselves in a thin body. They imagine how they will look in an outfit. They also reinforce this by speaking to themselves in positive ways to encourage this image. When you use your imagination, you activate the unconscious mind. It will act on what you think about most. Naturally thin people imagine their clothes sliding on, or being loose. Start to think like a thin person by envisioning yourself looking healthy and fit, then ask yourself what would it be like to live in this body? Get excited about the possibility and say to yourself nothing tastes as good as a fit body feels. Another distinction is a naturally thin person will only eat when their body indicates it is hungry. They use food to eliminate the hunger pain. Food is a source of fuel, not comfort. Children do this all of the time, they will beg you for food, and then they will take a few bites and announce I am finished. Chronic dieters have been brainwashed to think they have to clean their plates. We call this an empty habit. It is a result of repeating the same act until it becomes an unconscious habit. The difference is naturally thin people developed the habit to stop the moment they are satisfied not full. The food on the plate has nothing to do with being finished. Chronic dieters think: I cant waste food. Think like a naturally thin person and say to yourself: No way, I will feel sick if I eat all of that food. Naturally thin people stay thin because their comfort zone in regards to their weight is very close to their ideal weight. If they gain a few pounds a red flag goes up and they cut back until their weight returns to normal. They are aware of their bodies. As you lose weight, change your comfort zone to not exceed it by a few pounds. Naturally thin people move more than the average person. If you watch them they walk fast, take the stairs, park further. Lifestyle movement adds up quickly. Find opportunities to move. Weight management is a lifestyle not an event; naturally thin people dont live to eat, they eat to live. They dont say forget it this isnt working I quit. They eat foods that give them energy and take away the hungry feeling so they can return to what they were doing before they felt hungry. Take the time to think like a thin person and see how your body changes. It may not be the fastest way to lose weight, but it will last a lifetime. Rosa Smith-Montanaro is an author of Mind Over Platter: Train your brain to think thin http://www.MindOverPlatterBook.com and the founder of http://www.MindOverPlatter.com, a virtual weight loss coaching program. How Magnet Therapy Can Help Stem The Tide of The Hidden Chronic Fatigue Epidemic

By Donna Gray So, how can an epidemic that’s affecting over 1 million people remain hidden you may ask? When you take a moment to think about it, you would probably assume that something affecting so many people would have had a major impact on the headlines right? Well, actually, no, at least not in the case of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS), you see the difficulty with this complex illness is that many people may have it without even realising it! Part of the problem is that there is no one single cause that leads to CFS. In fact, the range of symptoms is so wide that, the illness can often remain undetected for years. Some of these symptoms are listed here: Allergies Brain fog Confusion & memory loss Excessive coughing Decrease in appetite DepressionDigestive disordersDizzinessHeadachesIrritabilityJoint and muscle painLow body temperatureFeverNauseaProlonged fatigue after exertionSevere fatigue The challenge for doctors, is that this range of symptoms could easily be associated with a whole range of other illnesses. So in many respects, the silently raging internal crisis often only becomes apparent, when the bodys immune system is given one symptoms too many burdens to handle, so it responds with a breakdown in the form of CFS. In addition to the symptoms I mentioned earlier, one of the biggest challenges that sufferer’s have to contend with, is people, i.e., some doctors and even family and friends thinking that the illness is ‘all in their head’. The main reason for this is due to CFS having a psychological element it. The first documented cases of CFS appeared in the 1980′s in Nevada, where patients reported feeling an overwhelming sense of fatigue and muscle pain. At the time it was thought that group of people likely to be most susceptible to CFS were young, white and affluent professionals, hence the unfortunate term ‘Yuppie Flu’ was born. In the UK it became known as ME. According to the Centre for Disease Control (CDC), most CFS sufferers are typically white, female with an age range between 40′s to 50′s. The Cause Despite that fact that there has been active research in this area for the last twenty years, the experts have yet to reach a consensus as to what actually causes Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. One theory is that no single cause exists, however, according to medical research specialists such as Dr W. H. Philpott and Dr Kalita, viruses such as those listed below are thought to play a role: Epstein-Barr CytemegaloCandidiasis (Yeast Overgrowth) In addition, other factors listed below contribute to the immune systems demise: Under active Thyroid GlandStressToxic OverloadNutritional DeficienciesProlonged use of Antibiotics, Hydrocortisone or Vaccinations Treatment Options for CFS To date, alternative therapies such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy have been successfully adapted in helping to treat some of the symptoms presented by CFS sufferers. However, today I would like to introduce you to the significant work of Dr William H. Philpott who is a leading expert in the field of Bio Magnetic Therapy. Magnetic therapy can be defined as a safe, natural and non-invasive method of applying high strength magnetic fields to the body for therapeutic purposes. Dr Philpott’s work demonstrates that Magnets have been clinically proven to relieve many health problems including Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, so let’s take a look. Eradication of Infections As I mentioned earlier, there is a theory which suggests that infections are a major player in CFS. Therefore, when magnets are applied to your body, the negative Magnetic Field can have the effect of acting like a natural antibiotic towards infections present within your system. Get That Energy Back and Control Those Hormones The application of magnets to the head and body (particularly at night time) can stimulate Melatonin and Human Growth Hormone production levels. This is key, as these are two of the hormones which control the bodies’ energy system. Research has shown that the Adrenal Gland has significant role in helping to control energy. If there is a hormonal imbalance occurring within this gland then fatigue as experienced by CFS sufferers can occur. The increased production in Melatonin can help to correct any imbalances associated with the Adrenal and Thyroid glands. Relieve The Stress & Depression Chronic Fatigue Syndrome has a psychological component to it. Therefore, as a sufferer you would need to help yourself by actively removing some of the stress inducing factors in your lifestyle. The application of magnets on the forehead has been shown to relieve the symptoms of depression. As I bring this article to a close, I would like you to focus on the fact that you don’t have to be passive in your recovery Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. There is action you can take, other approaches such a Magnet Therapy can be used to compliment any treatment that you may be currently undergoing. Donna Gray first entered the world of Complementary Therapies 14 years ago as Client Centered Counsellor. She became fasinated with the healing powers of Magnets after witnessing how they helped her mother ‘get her life back’ after being diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis. Magnetics 4 Back Pain was set up in the passionate belief that Magnets can and do bring relief to thousands of people. Online Dating Service

By Scott Morris Looking to spice up your life a little or add some romance…or maybe find that perfect love connection? Cool! Jump right in…the online dating waters are just fine and you will have lots of company. There are over THREE MILLION others already splashing around when you do decide to take the plunge!! If you’re new, or relatively new to the online dating scene, this article should get you headed down the right path. Follow the tips and recommendation presented here and your initial experiences will be more enjoyable, and yield better results. Do a search of “online dating” and you will be presented with more than 2.9 MILLION web pages from which to make your selection! Hmm… a bit overwhelming to say the least. But don’t let the huge numbers discourage you. Try the dating preparation and selection methods described, and you will easily find your perfect dating site match. So your first order of business is to get yourself matched up with one or more online dating sites that fit you and your needs. The questions below should help you narrow things down. What Type Dating Site? Plain Vanilla – no ethnic, religious, or cultural themes. Asian, Black/Ebony/African American, Italian, Jewish, Senior Citizen, the list goes on… Do some searching using the terms below as a guide. “online dating” + senior “online dating” + Christian “online dating” + African American “online dating” + Asian “online dating” + Get the idea? A search on each of the examples above will pretty much yield what you would expect. If you’re on a tight budget, just add the word “free”. “online dating” + free “online dating” + senior + free …etc. You will need to look a little harder to find high quality free dating sites or personal services. REALLY FREE dating sites with lots of members, lots of activity, and lots of member services are pretty hard to come by. You’ll understand better after you do a few searches for free dating websites. A search for dating reviews and forums can also be helpful. “online dating” + review OR reviews “online dating” + forum OR forums With the dating related forums, you can read about good and bad experiences others have had with particular dating and personals web sites. Dating services reviews will give you some good info as well. Look for genuine, unbiased reviews. Many of the dating review sites out there are willy-nilly listings someone threw together to earn commissions. Another way to find good dating sites is by asking friends and co-workers who may have tried, or are using online dating or personals services. You may be surprised to find out how many of your single friends are members of a personals site. How Much? Monthly fees vary widely, but the average is around $24. Most dating and singles sites will give you a discount if you pay for two or months in advance. I would suggest you only buy into a one month membership with any new dating service you join. If you decide you like it simply extend your membership. If you don’t like the service, you cut your losses at one month, and avoid the hassles of requesting a refund, or canceling billing. Tight Budget Dating Tip: Most free dating sites have low activity, and member activity is what makes personals and dating sites tick. Solution: Join 3, 4 or more free dating sites. If you find that their combined activity serves your needs… you’re good to go. If not, you’ll have gained a good familiarity with online dating, and a better understanding of what you want, when and if you decide to plunk down some bucks for a paid membership. Telling Your Pool-Side Story Now write your story (aka: member profile). No great detail; just write like you’re writing to the man or woman you seek. Write a little about you, stating one or more of your unique qualities. Write a little about the person you’re seeking. You’ll save some time if you write and save all your profile data to a text editor or word processor file. Then, you can COPY and PASTE it to the proper areas of your online dating profile. As things change, and as you grow, you will want to update and modify your profile statements. A Picture IS Worth a Thousand Words You will generally get 3 to 10 time better response with a posted photo than without. People don’t generally spend much time on profiles with no photos… so take the hint. If you don’t own a digital camera, web cam, or scanner, take a few photos and a diskette to your local Office Depot, Staples, or general office supply store. They should be able to scan and copy your photos to your diskette. Then you can easily add one or more to your dating site profile. You could also ask friends and relatives who own a digital camera or scanner. Digital cameras are very inexpensive these days. Check eBay for some of the best deals. Stay Focused and On-Track You may want to start a journal, (on paper, or in a text file), to log your “love search” progress. Make notes of URL links of sites you like (you should also bookmark these sites), restrictions, any new member specials, member benefits and services, monthly fees, etc. When I first started, I also wrote out a statement describing what I wanted to accomplish by joining a dating site. You may want to do the same. These statements and a well-kept journal will help keep you focused and organized. Organized endeavors always yield greater results than haphazard approaches. Safe-Date Policies This is actually part of the title of an upcoming article, but I mention it here to stress the use of common-sense, safety, and caution when dealing with ANY dating situation – on or offline. Now… jump in your skivvies and take the dive! Morris gathers information about online single dating service Dating free online service . College Is Way More Than Higher Education

By Meghan Semple The first day of college begins with hopes and dreams of a new future. You walk around the college, drinking in the newness of a world unknown, where the buildings will become a second home to you as you release yourself into a variety of lectures. Your first day is filled with trepidation as you imagine what college life will be like. Of course you have watched “Beverly Hills 90210″ and “The College Years” and have seen the picture perfect episodes, describing a life of parties and fun times and you wonder what acquaintances you’ll make and what extra-curricular activities at college you will be participating in. The college buzzer rings signaling the start of the first information session and you join the herd of other college students fresh out of their last year of high school, looking around for just a glimpse of anyone you might know, somebody that you could talk to and perhaps enjoy your college days with, to no avail. The college information session begins and as it continues, you sink into your chair as they ramable off all the general stuff that you already knew, because you studied the college handbook as required before attending. You are thinking what all this college stuff is about. College is about the closing of one chapter of your life, and the beginning of another. It’s a time of expanding and growing into adulthood. There is a lot of focus on the higher education aspects of attending college, and it’s really much more than that. College is a time to get to know who you are, and what you may want to do in your life. College gives you an opportunity to spread your wings, and learn about things which serve and support you in a “safe” environment. College is a time to network, and relationship with other people. Some of the most important questions you can ask yourself is What do I like? What am I interested in? What subject do I lose myself in? There will be some required courses and those may not jazz you, but your major should be something that fits like a glove. If you are unsure, don’t commit to any one course of direction until you have determined that. There is an abundance of college options, so take your time in choosing the one that best suits your needs. It will save you a lot of time and money and aggravation, in the long run! The author has experienced the benefits of a college education. She credits her college years for building a solid foundation and rounding out her life. Christian Success Training- Are You Maximized or Minimized for Success?

By Doug Firebaugh “For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword”… Hebrews 4:12 How sharp are you at what you do for a living? Are you someone who “gets it” and is looked up to, or are you still trying to figure Success out? Are you quick on your feet and quick to act? Do you have strong instincts when it comes to High Achievement? How powerful are you in front of people, and when you communicate? Does it impact people and excite them? Does it move them and create an emotional stirring or do your words fall flat on the floor with not much response? Do you communicate in a powerful fashion? No? There is a Holy Success Secret that lies within every Christian’s hands. It is the Secret to Success that everyone seeks, but few find. It is a Power SOAKED with God’s Power and Touch, and is a Supernatural Success Magnet on Steroids. It is simply the most Success focused environment on earth. It’s called The Word of God. And that alone will sharpen your skill set for Success like a razor. It will take your raw Success iron, and change it to steel, and then sharpen it to the point of where even the evil one knows not to distrub your efforts and Success pursuit. It will make you a powerful force in anything you do. It will accelerate anything you do. It will enlarge anything you touch. It will multiply everything you task. And it will increase all aspects of your Success walk. And It will make you a quick thinker, quick on your feet, and a quick study. How? By the incredible Power of Change that lies within It. The Power to change every aspect of you, and to create a new you that people will be amazed at. And it all happens from the Unseen Realm, where God lives. It will change your thinking. It will change your confidence. It will change your communication. It will change your belief. It will change your possibilities. It will change your perspective. It will change your expectations. The Bible will change radically your potential for Success. From an Unseen Power from an Unseen Realm, with an Unseen Touch that will Transform you overnight. BUT- You MUST read it daily! Start with the Book of Proverbs and then move to the Book of John. Take 1 chapter a day, and ask, “How can this apply to my Success efforts? What can I learn from this? What is the Success Message that can be found here?” This time in the Word will empower you and your Success in ways that you cannot fathom, and enlarge your potential to Succeed in ways that are unimaginable. Then get a Success journal, and make daily notes of your thoughts and what you can do with what you have read with your Success. But it’s like an air conditioner when it’s 112 degrees outside.(typical summer here in Dallas.) If it’s not plugged in, it won’t work. Are you plugged into God’s Word? Do you read a part of it daily? Here is a tip: Don’t just plug into IT…. Let It PLUG INTO YOU! And CONNECT you to the Supernatural SOURCE for all Christian Success! When Your Product Makes People Feel Great, You Make Money!

By Monique George We’ve all heard about the importance of offering a product or service that is a good value. The better the value, the more sales you will make and the more money you will earn. Sometimes good value can be based on a low price, or finding an otherwise hard-to-find product or service. Good value can have more to do with customer service or service after the sale. But how about this one: the best value comes from a product or service that makes you FEEL good. Think about it for a minute. McDonalds and Burger King became restaurant giants not so much because they produced food at low prices, but because customers felt good when they ate there. Those companies earned some of the largest fortunes in the world based on the simple principle that millions of people had a good time and really enjoyed themselves when they visited their restaurants. There are a lot of products or services that provide a good value, but the ones that make us FEEL GOOD are the ones we’ll buy time and time again. When you search for a new business opportunity or new product or service to sell, consider how the product makes people feel. Does it give them a energetic lift? Does it boost their spirits? Do they feel good after using your product or service? Answer “yes” to those things, and you’re well on your way to earning nice, consistent profits. Also make sure your product or service is unique. Yes, there may be other products in the same category, but make sure yours is different from the others in important ways. It can me more potent, more powerful, less expensive, more natural, or a host of other positive factors. Emotion is probably the most effective factor in marketing. Sell a product or service that affects customers’ health, mood, and general well being and you’ll have a winner. Win Against Sin! Now THAT’s Good News!

By Michael Tummillo Regarding sin, here’s a test: try NOT to think about a crystal bowl of Red & Green M&M candies. Now, try not to sin. As long as we walk around in these earth suits, we’re going to have a VERY hard time NOT sinning. Frankly, even if I never sinned, I’d get pridefull about how good I am in comparison to you. Pride is a sin; a very serious matter that got Lucifer booted out of Heaven. Pride really does come before a fall, according to Scripture. Even babies know how to sin. No one has to tell a little kid how to be selfish or steal. “There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus,” (Romans 8:1) If even a minister serves up a message of condemnation for you, quite simply, it’s NOT from God. How do we know? Because those things that are from the Holy Spirit manifest themselves in Edification, Exhortation, Comfort (1 Cor 14:3). The Spirit Himself has come to convict us of our sin, righteousness and judgment (John 16:5-11). Jesus said, “But now I am going to him who sent me; yet none of you asks me, `Where are you going?’ But because I have said these things to you, sorrow has filled your hearts. Nevertheless I tell you the truth: it is to your advantage that I go away, for if I do not go away, the Counselor will not come to you; but if I go, I will send him to you. And when he comes, he will convince the world concerning sin and righteousness and judgment: concerning sin (ministering conviction and leading to godly sorrow, repentance and resulting in more followers of Jesus), because they do not believe in Me; concerning righteousness (because, with Jesus gone, the Spirit would continue reminding us of who we are in God’s eyes so that the Cause of Christ – this Kingdom work of ours – would continue), because I go to the Father, and you will see Me no more; concerning judgment (what God had prepared for the devil and his angels and those who willfully follow him), because the ruler of this world is judged. Conviction of sin? Yes, NOT condemnation. Once that conviction leads to godly sorrow, it will lead to repentance (2 Cor 7;10). Conviction of righteousness? Yes! We MUST become convicted of our righteousness – our right standing with God. If not, we will find ourselves wallowing in the condemnation Satan heaps upon us in relation to our pasts. Judgment? As one speaker said, “God votes you go to Heaven. Satan votes you go to Hell. YOU cast the deciding vote.” Let’s remember that, although Eph 2:8,9 declares that, “For by grace you have been saved through faith…,” though are saved by God’s grace, that same grace is NOT a license to sin. Guess what? We’re going to sin ANY WAY! That’s the Good News (Gospel) about sin; that even though we may do our level best NOT to sin, when we do – and we WILL – we have an advocate (Jesus) with the Father. Sure, you may never fly a plane into a tall building, or have an affair with a high ranking official. But do you ever Doubt? Do you ever Fear? Lie? Steal? Lust? Covet? Gossip? Isaiah 64:6 says Our righteousness is filthy rags in God’s sight. Romans says There is NO ONE righteous; not even one. ALL have sinned and fall short of God’s glory. Folks, at our BEST, we’re not good enough. As Paul wrote in 2 Corinthians 10:12. “…When they measure themselves by themselves and compare themselves with themselves, they are not wise.” Think about it; who among us had sinned before Jesus died on that cruel cross? No one. So, logically speaking, if ALL our sins were atoned for at Calvary, ALL includes ALL the sins you and I ever committed AS WELL as all the sins you and I will EVER commit, right? Now, despite the fact that we are so good at holding one another to our own self-righteous measuring stick, merciless standards of what is good and acceptable, though man looks at the outside, God looks at the heart (1 Sam 16:7). Are there consequences for our sins? You’d better believe it. Gal 6:7,8 says: “Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life.” The principal of reaping and sowing – the seedtime-to-harvest existence we have here on earth, was set in motion by God back in Gen 8:22. But be of good cheer; though those negative seeds of sin will bring forth a negative harvest, those positive seeds of blessing will bring forth blessings from God that will overtake you, to. So, remain blessable at all costs! So, what’s the Good News about sin? The Good News about sin is that the debt has been paid. The key is simply in making Jesus the real Lord of your lives though experiential relationship. We are encouraged by Scripture to GROW in grace and in the KNOWLEDGE of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (2 Peter 3;18). How does a person fall in love with anyone or anything? By spending TIME with that person or thing. Jesus WANTS to be a REAL Person in all of our lives. Sadly, too often, He never shakes His status as a mere historical figure. The plain truth is that most who call themselves Christians are doing so only because they weren’t born in Baghdad or Islamabad or Pakistan. Many consider themselves Christians despite having ZERO relationship with Christ. Christless Christianity is no Christianity at all. Do you want to grow in that relationship? Years ago, I was asked to pick up a wonderful godly woman for a church service as her car was in the shop. I thought, “Here’s my chance!” As we drove along, I asked her what it was that made her seem so “different” than so many other Christians I had met. She smiled knowingly and said it came down to three very simple ingredients. 1) Pray all the time. “It’s a 2-Way form of communication, talking and listening.” 2) Study the Word. “It’s a love letter; the word “Bible” stands for Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth,” she quipped. 3) Fellowship. “Not merely attending Church services but surrounding yourself with people whose Faith-Walk you admire and want to emulate. Remember, we all need a Paul, a Barnabas and a Timothy in our lives.” A few years back, I performed a wedding for a Catholic man and his Church of Christ bride. The groom’s mother was a beautiful 40-something woman who had gone through an ugly divorce 20 years prior. In counseling the couple, the young man revealed to me that his mother would not take communion as a result of her feelings of unworthiness by way of her divorce. I was able to discuss this matter with her at the reception. I reminded her that the cross of Christ was all that would ever be needed for our forgiveness. There are NO VIP SINNERS and that she was as forgiven by God through Christ as anybody EVER. Friends, I think I could hear shackles and chains falling off the woman as she beamed with delight! OK. I exaggerate a bit. But it was a glorious moment, that’s for sure. WHAT IS SIN? Appearing 827 times in the Bible, the Greek word for “sin” is hamartia {ham-ar’-tee’-ah}, and it literally means “to miss the mark” as when an archer fails to hit the center of the target. Who has sinned? According to Rom 3;23, ALL have sinned. Rom 3:19 says there is no one righteous; no, not one. Isaiah 64:6 describes our own righteousness as “filthy rags” in the sight of God. Basically, being good isn’t good enough. Finally, there’s this verse from 1 Jn 1:8,10: “If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. if we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His Word is not in us.” We’re LYING to ourselves if we think we don’t sin or that we can obey the 10 commandments. I recall the very first sermon that ever stuck with me. I chose to listen to Billy Graham on a small transistor radio on my bed. He was describing how we all break the ten commandments all the time. Adultery? Jesus said you’ve committed adultery through lust in your heart. Murder? Jesus said your as guilty of such if for merely hating another person. NONE of us was innocent. Even Al Capone, the gangster, considered himself quite the benefactor to society. The evidence? The public was buying what he was selling. Likewise, pornography is a $7 Billion a year business. Is it beneficial? By Capone’s definition, it is, obviously, as so many are buying the product of porn. “But exhort one another daily, while it is called today; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin,” (Hebrews 3;13). Sin causes a person to be deceived. The more a person sins, the more he may be deceived. DIFFERENT TYPES OF SIN – NOT VARYING DEGREES Unpardonable sin – if you’re worried about it, you haven’t done it. Numerous Christians are afraid they had committed the unpardonable sin. Christians who believe they have committed the unpardonable sin have a difficultif not impossibletime accepting the doctrine of eternal security. Hundreds of verses in the Bible promise the forgiveness of our sins, but only one passage refers to an unforgivable sin. Jesus healed a demon-possessed man who was blind and mute (Matt12:22). The multitudes began to say, “This man cannot be the Son of David, can He?” They wondered if Jesus was the Messiah. The Pharisees accused Jesus of casting out demons by Beelzebub, ruler of demons. Jesus’ response to their accusation led Him to conclude what He said in Matt 12:31-32. In this passage He refers to blasphemy, defined as “defiant irreverence.” i.e., cursing God or willfully degrading things considered holy. Here the term refers to the declaration of the Pharisees who had witnessed undeniable evidence that Christ was performing miracles in the power of the Holy Spirit. Yet they attributed the miracles to Satan. In the face of irrefutable evidence they ascribed the work of the Holy Spirit to that of Satan. Many Bible scholars agree that this unique circumstance can NOT be duplicated today. The Pharisees had seen proof of Christ’s deity. But instead of acknowledging God, they attributed the supernatural power to Satan instead of the work of the Holy Spirit. Christ is not in the world as He was. Although the Holy Spirit still accomplishes supernatural things through His servants, they are merely representatives of the King. The circumstances of Matthew 12 make it impossible for this sin to take place today. This incident is the only one in which a sin is declared unforgivable. The Bible states, “Whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved” (Rom 10:13). No invitation to salvation carries with it an exception clause, “unless you have committed the unpardonable sin.” No matter how evil our sins, there is pardon for them. God forgave David for his adultery, dishonesty, and murder (2 Sam 12:13, Ps 51). Simon Peter’s denial of our Lord accompanied by profanity was forgiven (Matt 26:74-75). The apostle Paul was forgiven of his preconversion merciless persecution of Christians (Acts 9:1). Just about every possible sin is listed somewhere in the New Testament. And every one of them falls into the category of “Forgivable.” That’s Good News! Sin of Commission: When we actively do something sinful. Sin of Ommission: When we fail to do something we should do. (James 4:17) To him therefore who knows to do good, and doesn’t do it, to him it is sin. The Sin Unto Death: The phrase “sin unto death” describes the final stage of divine discipline in which God removes from the earth the person who is totally alienated from God. Calling home a disobedient child who disgraces the family name. The “sin unto death” is described in 1 Jn 5:16; Psalm 118:17,18;Ezek. 18:21-32. Some case histories of the “sin unto death”: * Acts 5:1-10. * 1 Cor 11:30,31. * 1 Chron10:13,14; 1 Sam 13:9-14. * Isa 38. * Num 31:8; 1 Tim 1:19,20. (1 Peter 1:18) At the moment of salvation, you were changed SPIRITUALLY. You were crucified with Christ, you died to the world, and you were “redeemed with the precious blood of Christ from worthless ways of living.” (Col 3:3) “For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.” Not only that, but at the time of your conversion, the Holy Spirit – God Himself – came to live on the inside of you. Satan wants you to believe that you’re no different now than before you were saved. If he can convince us that we haven’t changed on the inside, we will live a lifestyle that’s not much different than anybody else’s. We are to make them JEALOUS. WHAT JESUS SAID ABOUT SIN CHRIST TAUGHT THAT TEMPTATION IS NOT SIN (Lk 22:28). 40/40 nights Jesus was tempted by Satan. He never yielded. (Jn 8:46) Jesus describes His entire LIFE on earth as a period of trials. (Heb 4:15) Jesus never sinned, because He never yielded to temptation. Temptation is not sin—ONLY an opportunity to do either right or wrong–to serve either God or Satan. You can’t stop a bird from landing on your head. But you can stop it from building a nest there. JESUS TAUGHT THAT MISTAKES ARE NOT SIN HERE ARE 4 statements of Jesus all leading to a conclusion that sins are not mistakes and mistakes are not sins. (Jn 9:41; Jn 3:19-21; Jn 15:22 and Jn 15:24). 99 out of 100 people who read these passages will understand that sin is relative to light; that sin never occurs without a conscious and willful choice of evil. Wherever Jesus spoke of sin this moral principle was clearly implied or plainly taught. Dr. George Lamsa, widely known as world’s foremost authority on Aramaic language, the language Christ spoke, stated: Sin separates us from God—Mistakes are not sin—No one can be forgiven without repentance—When a sinner repents he is no longer a slave to sin and Satan. AN ILLUSTRATION When I was a boy, I decided to “help” my dad by pounding the crooked teeth on his handsaw to straighten them out. For those who aren’t aware, the teeth on a hand saw are SUPPOSED to be crooked, like a sharks’ teeth. Dad pulled up just in time before I could make a dent. He lovingly explained and I was not punished. (Matt 5:48) Was I sinning? Should I have been punished? No, I made a mistake. As long as the heart stays right we are not sinning, even though the head lacks information. No one is perfect in knowledge, though any one can be perfect in heart. This is what Jesus meant, “Be ye perfect, even as your Father which is in Heaven is perfect” Remember, 1 Sam 16:7, ‘Man looks at the outside; God looks at the heart.” Many accuse and beat themselves up about sin when they have only been tempted but have not yielded. Of course, if one is tempted and yields to the temptation enough to entertain the will to do it, when he knows it is evil, he is then sinning. IT’S A BATTLE FOR YOUR MIND!! Thoughts become a stronghold. Control is lost. We are SLAVES to sin. RENEW our minds! (READ 2nd Corinthians 10:15) Cast down imaginations and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and to bring every thought into captivity to God. (Matt 5:28).Billy Graham said, “the first look is free; after that we’re accountable.” Here it should be remembered the thought of sin was deliberately entertained—and the looking was done with the purpose of lusting. (Matt 5:29, 30).Jesus follows this thought of “looking to lust.” He was saying that if any part of our body actually forces us to sin we’d beer off to literally tear it off because sin, unrepented, is fatal to the soul. Remember, this was before a drop of blood was shed at the cross! Up till that time we were STILL under the Law of the old covenant. GRACE = the Power to do what is required of us. JESUS REDEEMED US FROM SIN (1 Jn 2:1) (1 Jn 3:8) (Rom 8:4) (1 Cor 10:13) (Rom 6:10-14) (Titus 2:11-14) (2 Cor 10:5 (1 Jn 5:3-5) (Jn 15:7-8 (Jn 14:150 (1 Jn 3:3-10) WHEN WE SIN, WHAT NEXT? I do not believe or teach that it is impossible for a Christian to sin. Even as Jesus was tempted by the devil, Christians will continue to be tempted. As a Christian relies upon God, no temptation will be too difficult (1 Cor. 10:13). If a Christian takes his eyes off of Christ, sin is almost sure to follow. “If any man sin…” Notice first of all that this verse says “IF”. If a Christian sins then he needs to confess the sin and repent of it. (James 5:19-20) if a Christian wanders from the truth and commits sin, he needs to be restored in order to be saved from death. (Heb 2:11), If you seek to live a holy life, cling to Jesus, the One who MAKES us holy (Gal 5:13; 1 Peter 2:16). WHEN you sin, TURN from your sin. Don’t try to turn God’s grace into a license to continue in your sin and do not try to cover up your sin. (Prov 28:13) And after you have confessed and repented of your sin, trust God to give you the grace and strength to overcome it in the future. (Rom 6:14)Don’t be weakened in your faith. Don’t let your trust and reliance in God waiver, for he is able to keep you blameless and present you before his presence faultless and with great joy (Jude 24). Struggling With Sin or defeated by it? We become what we surround ourselves with. “Struggling with sin” is a phrase that is used rather lightly in many religious circles. The word “struggle” means to “fight against”; it means to “strive not to give in”. It does not mean or imply that the one who is struggling is on the losing side of the struggle. And yet, many “Christians” when they say that they are struggling with sin they mean that they are committing sin(s) even while trying not to. They mean that they have struggled and then they were defeated by sin. And so perhaps the word “defeated” rather than “struggling” more accurately describes such people. Sadly, many people accept such “struggling” (actually defeat) as a way of life. They have not truly struggled so hard that they have suffered any great deal striving with all their might not to give in to temptations (Heb 12:4). ALL FLESH SEEKS AFTER ITS OWN COMFORT Many would say that they “struggle with” lust, greed, covetousness, anger, selfishness. Actually, they mean that they fight against it a little, but end up giving in to these temptations. They claim that they are trying not to sin. But in reality they watch commercials that promotes lust; they watch movies and television programs that encourages coveting; and they listen to music that contains all sorts of self-oriented lyrics. Can anyone actually say they are truly trying to overcome temptations? Will God believe them when they say that they tried? Make every effort to enter the kingdom of heaven through the narrow door, Jesus says, because many will simply try but not be able to (Luke 13:24). (James 4:7) (1 Cor 10:13) (Heb 2:18) But don’t believe the lie that because you struggle you are in sin. It is not true. GOOD NEWS ABOUT YOU! Struggling against sin does not mean that you are displeasing God. Struggling against sin is one of the main evidences that you HATE sin. God looks at the heart. Christians do struggle with sin…and get the victory through faith. The “struggle” of the Christian is not a vicious cycle of try-fail, try-fail, try-fail,… No, the struggle of the Christian echoes the sorrowful, yet rejoicing words of the Apostle Paul, “we faced trials far beyond our ability to endure” (2 Cor 1:8); “God has delivered us and will continue to deliver us” (2 Cor 1:10). “Now thanks be to God who always causes us to triumph in Christ” (2 Cor 2:14). Perhaps you are convicted by God. Perhaps there is sin in your life that you cannot seem to give up. Do not lose hope. Rather, repent and get rid of everything that hinders you (Heb 12:1-2).
